Our stretch tents are ideal for events on the beach such as sports events, beach weddings, food festivals and music events on the beach. There are many complications to setting up tent on the beach (soft sand, rocks under sand, vehicle access) but we have a lot of experience as we have set up tents for many events in Cornwall.
In St Ives we’ve set up tents on Porthminster beach for the annual St Ives Food festival and on Porthmeor beach in St Ives we’ve set up tents a few times for various surf events with the St Ives Surf School. We set up a tent for Tunes on the Dunes in Perranporth and we’ve often set up tents for events on Gylly Beach in Falmouth and Marazion beach. We set up a tent for a wedding on Caerhays beach and for a ceremony on Mothecombe beach on private land of the Pamplete Estate (ok so that’s Devon!).
Some of these are charity events or one-off events and it’s not often possible to get permission to have an event on a beach, there are many restrictions and each beach is different. It is sometimes possible to get permission from the people who own the rights to have a cafe or restaurant on that beach but you will most likely need to use their services (drinks & food).
