Tent layouts

Here are various examples of tent layouts with different size tents to give you an idea of your options.

Layout depends mostly on the weather but also how many people you need to fit in the tent as bringing the sides down reduces the space inside the tent.
If it’s perfect windless weather or you are in a wind protected area you may choose to have all sides and corners up.
If you need some wind protection or have a band that needs protection from the elements you may want to bring at least one side down.
You can bring maximum 3 sides down on our larger tents.
One side always needs to remain completely open, we can’t close all sides in.

Option A: Corners down / Sides up

Option B: One side down, 2 front corners down.

Option C:  Corners down, sides up, 1 side partly down

Option D: 1 side down, 3 sides up with front corners up

Option E: 2 sides down

Option F: All sides & corners up

Option G: All sides up and off a wall / over decks & stairs  – see more examples & info on how we attach to a wall. 

Option H: 3 sides down

Up high – long poles for unusual spaces or stages
