Stretch tents sides can be brought down to the ground for wonderful wind protection. We can do this on 1, 2 or 3 sides of the tent depending on the size of the tent, but the front needs to remain open. Bringing the sides down reduces the height & space in the tent but inner poles are still 2.4m high and is often a useful space for behind bars and for creating cosy corners and the sloping sides are great for fleeting the wind off the tent with minimal buffering. We usually see which direction the wind is coming from and put that side down and generally decide on the day depending on the weather whether sides are needed or not. See examples of this here.
However we can put up various types of side-walling which gives extra wind protection whilst still keeping the height of the tent. We have a 10m length side walls. See below for our other option of stretch lycra, see-through side mesh or colourful stretch walling.
The above side walls only work for certain layouts. Stretch lycra side walls are an option for different set ups.
Side walling mesh works well for some tent set ups.
We can also provide colourful stretch walling.
